Pisze z gorącą prośba o pomoc w posłaniu w świat naszej zbiórki by uratować K-ochaną.

Nazywam się Sonia Walicka i jestem założycielką Fundacji K-ochana im. Danuty Snow Song i Silver Fox. Siedzibą Fundacji jest mała organiczna farma leżąca w malowniczej wiosce o nazwie Kornatka (ok 33km od Krakowa). Miejsce to jest uzdrawiającym i edukującym miejscem, gdzie terapeuci, psycholodzy, fizjoterapeuci, nauczyciele i rdzenna starszyzna pracują z ludzmi i dzielą się swoją mądrością.

K-ochana jest bezpieczną przystanią, która pomaga ludziom przepracować traumy, emocjonalne rany, lęki, oraz uciec na chwilkę od stresu i napięcia miejskiego życia. Zwłaszcza w tych czasach, kiedy Covid i wojna w Ukrainie tak bardzo wływa na nasze codzienne życie i zdrowie mentalne, fizyczne i emocjonalne. Prawie co weekend terapeutyczne grupy przyjeżdżają do nas na warsztaty. Przyjeżdżają często w pośpiechu, zestresowani i zgaszeni, i dzięki naszej drużynie wyjeżdżają radośni, zrelaksowani i z iskierką miłości w oczach. Mamy też dodatkowo 5 czworonogich terapeutów- ja nazywam je „antydepresanty” hihi (załączam zdjecia oczywiscie) Ja jestem gospodynia tego miejsca (i jak twierdza wszyscy) niesamowitą kucharką :) Uwielbiam karmic ludzi i wypracowalam system kuchni 8-przemian. Nic się u mnie nie marnuje i kreatywnie i z miloscia serwuje kulinarne dziela.

Skąd ta nazwa? Słowo „Ohana” pochodzi z Hawajskiego i oznacza „Rodzinę” my dodaliśmy do tego Polskie „K”, by powstałą „Ukochana Rodzina”. Kiedy ludzie przyjeżdzaja do nas- tak chcemy, by się czuli- jak w domu, jak w bezpiecznym miejscu.

Jak pisałam wczesniej, K-ochana- czyli nasze miejsce na ziemi potrzebuje być kupione od terazniejszej wlascicielki.

K-ochana powstała w 2000r, kiedy Rdzenny Indianin/Amerykanin Dziadek Srebrny Lis Mette kupił te farmę (1,02ha) jako prezent ślubny dla swojej Polskiej/Kanadyjskiej żony- Babci Danuty Ogaoeno Mette. Ich miłość była i jest legendą, od tego się zaczęło. Swoim życiem razem pokazywali jak komunikowac się, jak przechodzić przez trudne chwile i wychodzić z nich w dobry sposob. Uczyli jak kochac. K-ochana od początku pelna była ludzi, którzy przyjezdzali po uzdrowienie serca, ducha, ciala, by znalesc lepszy kierunek w życiu.

Niestety dziadkowie już nie żyją i w 2016r w spadku K-ochana poszla w ręce córki Babci Danuty- Agnieszki. Od 6 lat zbieramy pieniadze, by kupic K-ochana od Agnieszki, która pozwolila nam przez te lata kontynuowac nasza misję pomagania ludziom.

W tym roku w czerwcu, Agnieszka chce K-ochana sprzedac, a my jestesmy daleko ze zbiórka. Robilismy aukcje, zbiorki, dostajemy 1% podatku, szukamy sponsorow i dobroczyncow. Co tydzien śłę listy do potencjalnych sponsorow. Zebralismy dopiero 145.000zl a włąscicielka chce 1.000.000zl. Więc nie mamy nawet na wkład do banku, by wziasc kredyt. Założyliśmy Fundację, by docelowo K-ochana należała do ludzi i nigdy już nie była prywatna. TO się może udać! Z waszą pomocą możemy posłać prośbe o wsparcie o wiele dalej.

Dear Ones,

My name is Sonia Walicka and I am a founder and a President of K-ochana Foundation.

K-ochana Foundation is an established organic, healing and educational place- where therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, teachers and native elders work with the people and share their wisdom. We are a safe haven that helps people work with traumas, emotional wounds and escape the rush and stress of the city life. Especially nowadays when Covid and war in Ukraine have wreaked havoc on our minds, bodies and emotions.

Almost every weekend therapeutic groups come and stay with us at our organic farm aimed also very intensely at lowering the carbon footprint. We have hundreds of people coming through our Foundation every year. They come depressed and gloomy and thanks to our team, they leave joyful and rested.

I'm writing with a plea for you to help us save our healing home-place, K-ochana.

Name „K-ochana” comes from Hawaian word „ohana” meaning „family”. We added „K” to it make a Polish word „kochana” meaning „beloved”. So, all together we created „Beloved Family” :) This is how we wish people to feel when they come to visit and stay with us.

K-ochana was founded in 2000 by a Native American Elder Grandfather Silver Fox and his Polish/Canadian wife Grandmother Danuta Ogaoeno Mette. Their love was epic- for lack of a better word- IT created this safe haven. They taught us that we can go through any turmoils in life if we listen to the love that's always deep in our hearts. They chose to live their lives with the people, showing everyday what Love is. They loved each other dearly and worked everyday on their relationship. They had their challenges, yet love always prevailed. They both have unfortunatelly crossed over (2009 and 2016) and we continue their heritage and our future on this beautiful land (2,52acres).

We inhabit an old wooden house and use refurbished barn for our guests. We have build a greenhouse and are in the process of building a chickencoop. We would like to be as self-sufficient as possible, and regarding present circumstances (War in Ukraine) it's even a better idea. We are a non-profit organization which main purpose is to serve as a healing place- where therapists, teachers and native elders work with the people, and share their wisdom in a safe, private and quiet environment. K-ochana is also an organic farm aimed at lowering the carbon footprint. Every year we do a little more to contaminate less and recycle more. We are a community oriented safe haven. Visitors come to us to rest from the rush and stresses of the city life. People so need it nowadays.

Our team consists of: me, my partner Jacek, my mom Ewa and her very energetic 80-year old British friend Roy. The rest of community comes regularly to visit and be together. K-ochana has also been a home to Native American and Slavic teachings.

Grandmother Danuta, the founder, had studied for over 20 years with two Native American teachers- Grandmother Twylah Nitsch and Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo. The first one was from the Seneca tribe, the other one is from the Cherokee Nation. They knew that the „white” world would need the Native Teachings and wisdom to awaken the hearts and help survive upcoming hard times and they shared their wisdom freely.

Granfather Silver Fox was of Cherokee and German descent. He was brought up by his Native American grandmother, who taught him the native way of life. He passed his wisdom on everyday when he shared his life with the people. Such a generous heart! What big shoes to fill. We follow in their footsteps loving the place we live in and learning to live in harmony with eachother, the visitors and the land.

I'm asking you to help us save our healing place. When Grandmother crossed over suddenly in 2016, we found out that K-ochana is inherited by her daughter Agnieszka. Although we spoke a lot about future of this place after Grandmother would be gone, we never really took it seriously. Death unfortunately comes unannounced. Agnieszka is a wonderful person yet living in K-ochana is simply not her path. To cut the long story short- she wants to sell K-ochana by June 2022.

We have been collecting funds since Grandmother crossed over. We did fundraisers, auctions, crowdfunding collections and more... We did and do what we can with faith and hope. Alas, we are way too far behind of what we need. Two years ago Covid hit us badly, and now the War next door. Collecting funds is even more difficult because of that.

The owner wants 234.000USD for K-ochana. We have gathered 21.000USD and it's not enough, I'm afraid, to even take a loan. Thus we're asking from the bottom of our hearts- please, could you find it in your heart, to help us financially with a donation?
