Ms. Zuzanna works in a grocery store and is raising her five-year-old daughter, Dominika, from a previous relationship. She herself didn’t have an easy start to adulthood—her childhood was filled with difficulties, and her youth was marked by a lack of stability. She never had proper role models to guide her in building a secure home or providing her child with dignified living conditions. Recently, Mr. Tomasz entered Ms. Zuzanna’s life, and together they hope to create a warm, supportive family. Tomasz works part-time as a delivery driver, but health issues stemming from a motorcycle accident limit his ability to take on full-time employment. His past hasn’t been easy either—he recently completed a sentence and is now trying to rebuild his life, determined to correct his mistakes and build a better future for Dominika with Ms. Zuzanna.
