Gdy była niemowlęciem leczono ją w Instytucie Matki i Dziecka po czym przez następne 13 lat nie miała symptomów. W okresie dojrzewania ataki padaczkowe powróciły. Do tego momentu nie wiedziała, że chorowała więc informacja o tym była dla niej ogromnym szokiem. 

Z wiekiem mimo przyjmowania leków ataki zaczęły być silniejsze i coraz częstsze.

4 lata temu świat Marysi się zawalił w momencie gdy będąc w 6 miesiącu ciąży została zabrana do szpitala ponieważ dostała ataku padaczkowego, który nie chciał ustąpić i na ten moment jedyną metodą było wprowadzenie Marysi w stan śpiączki farmakologicznej i podpięcie pod respirator. 

Stan był bardzo ciężki i nie było wiadomo czy Marysia i dziecko przeżyją.Po około tygodniu wybudzono ją i 3 miesiące później urodził się chłopiec. Po wyjściu ze szpitala czuła się bardzo źle - fizycznie i psychicznie. Nie miała siły do zrobienia czegokolwiek. Od tamtego czasu nie może wrócić do siebie. Cytując jej słowa: "Szczerze mówiąc sądziłam, że po tym wszystkim już nic gorszego mnie nie spotka".

Do dramatycznych zdarzeń doszło rok później gdy wracając wieczorem z młodszy synkiem ze spaceru źle się poczuła i usiadła na przystanku autobusowym. Gdy zaczęła dochodzić do siebie pojawiła się policja i pogotowie. Marysia chciała wrócić do domu, jednak pogotowie i policja nie rozpoznali, że jej zachowanie jest efektem choroby (całkowita utrata świadomości) i w trakcie tego incydentu policjant przygniótł ją do ziemi i wykręcał ręce. Sama nie wie jakby się to skończyło, gdyby nie pojawił się mąż. 

Napady padaczkowe z utratą świadomości doprowadziły do tego, że żyje w ciągłym stresie nie znając dnia, ani godziny kolejnego ataku, który może zakończyć się jej śmiercią. W tym miesiącu dostała kilku silnych ataków z utratą świadomości i co było najbardziej szokujące to fakt,że do pełni świadomości powróciła dopiero po kilku dniach.

Po tej sytuacji zaczęła szukać pomocy, ponieważ jej choroba stała się dla niej udręką,a jej stan po atakach uniemożliwia jej normalne funkcjonowanie. Zdecydowała się skorzystać ze stworzonej w Szwajcarii innowacyjnej immunoterapii. Pozwoliło jej to na zmniejszenie ilości ataków, a także zmniejszenie ich intensywności i poprawę jej samopoczucia po nich. 

Niestety terapia jest bardzo złożona i wymaga długiego okresu stosowania. (2-3 lat).

4 years ago Marysia's world collapsed when she was 6 months pregnant and taken to hospital because she had an epileptic seizure that would not go away. At that moment, the only method was to put Marysia in a medically induced coma and put her on a respirator.

Her condition was very serious and it was not known whether Marysia and the child would survive. After about a week, she was woken up and 3 months later a boy was born. After leaving the hospital, she felt very bad - physically and mentally. She had no strength to do anything. Since then, she has not been able to return to her normal self. To quote her words: "To be honest, I thought that after all this, nothing worse could happen to me."

Dramatic events occurred a year later when, on her way back from a walk with her younger son in the evening, she felt bad and sat down at a bus stop. When she started to recover, the police and ambulance showed up. Marysia wanted to go home, but the ambulance and police did not recognize that her behavior was the result of the disease (complete loss of consciousness) and during this incident a policeman pinned her to the ground and twisted her arms. She does not know how it would have ended if her husband had not appeared.

Epileptic seizures with loss of consciousness have led to her living in constant stress, not knowing the day or hour of the next attack, which could end in her death. This month she had several strong attacks with loss of consciousness and what was most shocking was the fact that she only regained full consciousness after a few days.

After this situation, she began to seek help, because her disease had become a torment for her, and her condition after the attacks prevented her from functioning normally. She decided to use an innovative immunotherapy created in Switzerland. This allowed her to reduce the number of attacks, as well as reduce their intensity and improve her well-being after them.
