As we have entered the third week of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we realize that the world's involvement in helping our Ukrainian friends, colleagues and neighbors will be a marathon, not a sprint. Lionbridge's truly global community continues to be involved in all kinds of support initiatives, from collecting medical supplies and sending them over to Ukraine, to providing pro bono localization services to charity organizations, to welcoming refugees under our roofs.

We have heard from many Lions who couldn't participate in initiatives carried out so far, be it because of the distance, time constraints or other reasons, but would like to contribute financially. Obviously, money is needed in the current crisis just like the medical and other supplies we've been collecting and sending to Ukraine so far.

With this in mind, we are opening this fundraiser as another channel where members of our community can provide support to free Ukraine. The donations will be transferred to the two trusted organizations that have good credit and experience in raising funds to support important causes:

Polish Humanitarian Action’s SOS Ukraine initiative is providing humanitarian aid to people who have been forced to leave their homes.

Voices of Children is an organization based in Ukraine that provides assistance to children and families affected by the conflict.

If you are not a Lionbridge employee and you are reading this, you most likely received a link to the fundraiser from a friend or family member working at Lionbridge. This is an open fundraiser and everyone can donate!
