Castello Bizzarro is a queer gothic genre-bending festival happening on 26-27 of july 2024 in the medieval castle in Będzin, Poland✨

We decided to collect money + sell tickets through zrzutka.pl, as Castello Bizzarro is an independent DIY Festival which works without fundings and private sponsorships, and we want to invite you to help us to make this happen together  ˗ˋˏ ♡ ˎˊ˗

That's why we give you a choice here to buy tickets, buy merch, or if you can't physically come to the festival, but you want to support us, you can simply donate any amount of money! Every virtual coin is very important to us (´ ω `♡)

All the money are needed to cover costs like soundsystem, paying the artists, transport and accommodation for the artists, materials and much more.

Don't worry, even if we won't manage to get the whole expected amount of money, the festival will take place anyway! It'll just be harder for the organizers to get all the things done, but we're very motivated to make it happen (￣▽￣)/♫•*¨*•.¸¸♪

If we get more than expected in this whip-round, we'll be able to pay more to the artists and prepare everything even better for you ⚔️

How to get to Castello?

The very special venue where the event takes place is a 14th-century castle in Będzin. Będzin is a mid-sized town in southern Poland, in Silesia (Śląsk), with a rich history and a unique vibe that's both post-apocalyptic and cute at the same time (by the way, this year Będzin celebrates its 666th anniversary of becoming a city! Happy birthday, Będzin!!!)

It's very well connected with Katowice (30 minutes by public transport; 15 minutes by car/uber; 20 minutes by train). You can easily reach Katowice from anywhere in Poland and other countries by buses, FlixBuses, trains, or planes ⚔️

Where to stay?

Because festival takes place in the city unfortunately it's impossible to have a camping space. But we have a possibility to offer an affordable sleeping option in a dormitory-style space. There's also a lot of hostels and hotels just in the castle surroundings (Hotel Cumulus, Orange Tree Hotel, Black Jack, Apartamenty Noclegi Będzin) + it's very well connected with other towns like Sosnowiec, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Katowice, with more sleeping options.
